How it all began: A timeline

As a first generation Haitian American, Jessica Bruny always had a level of extreme passion, purpose, and persistence. She was the youngest of 14 and was aware of reality at a young age. Jessica was very intrigued by the different personalities of her siblings and carried a special interest in human development.

Her mother encouraged her that knowledge was something that could never be taken away from her. Jessica valued education and explored her studies of Psychology at CSUSB right after graduating from high school. Jessica is the first woman to have graduated with a B.A in Psychology from her family. She has devoted the last three years to be certified as a Mindfulness Life Coach.
H E R C A L L I N G
Through her lifework, she has realized the need for mindfulness education to be offered in her communities. Mindfulness is a state of heightened awareness and deliberate focus on the present moment. By implementing mindfulness communities will begin to thrive and progress.
H E R P A S S I O N
In the fall of 2019, Jessica was an honoree of “30 Under30” by Assemblymember Eloise Gomez Reyes in California’s 47th District as a social influencer breaking down barriers for herself and others. Thanks to the work the team and herself have done with Music Changing Lives over 22 years within the community. As a creative visionary she values bringing unity within communities to be the change they want to see.
